DR. ALEIDA GUEVARA * Havana, Cuba
 

Cuban revolutionary leader, a pediatrician, prominent author of the book, “Chavez, Venezuela and the New Latin America” and daughter of the legendary Ernesto Che Guevara. 

ALBERTO PRIETO * Havana, Cuba
Coordinator for North and Central America for the Central Committee of Communist Party of Cuba. Alberto was previously the first secretary of the Cuban Interests Section in Washington, DC.

JAVIER DOMOKOS * Toronto, Canada
The Cuban Consul General in Toronto, Canada. Javier graduated from the Havana's “Instituto Superior de Relaciones Internacionales” (ISRI) in 1992. Since 1992, Javier has been posted in several diplomatic missions around the world including Turkey, Zimbabwe and Kenya, during this time he has also worked for Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
 
ANTONIO GUERRERO CABRERA * Havana, Cuba
Member of the Union of Young Communists of Cuba (UJC) since 2001. Tony is the son of Antonio Guerrero, one of the Cuban 5 political prisoners held in U.S. jails. Tony graduated as an Engineer of Informatics Sciences in 2009. Tony participated in the Cuban delegations to the World Festival of Youth in 2005 in Venezuela and 2010 in South Africa.
 
MANUEL YEPE * Havana, Cuba
Journalist and professor at the Superior Institute of International Relations of Havana. Manuel was a leader of the underground July 26 Movement in Matanzas leading up to the triumph of the Cuban revolution in 1959, and worked directly with Ernesto Che Guevara.

MAVIS DORA ALVAREZ * Havana, Cuba

An agricultural engineer and educator who consults with Cuban family farming and cooperatives. For forty years Mavis has been member of the national leadership of the National Association of Small Farmers. She hold a bachelors degree in agricultural engineering and a masters degree in gender studies.

MERLI VANEGAS * Vancouver, BC, Canada
 
Lawyer of the Venezuelan National Assembly, Legal Consultant founder of Citizen Power and other institutions, was a diplomat in Libya and currently the Venezuelan Consul General in Vancouver.

WENDY HOLM * Vancouver, BC, Canada
Professor of UBC’s International Field Studies in Sustainable Agriculture (Cuba), economist, author and award winning journalist and sustainability expert. Wendy is also the organizer of the Canada-Cuba Farmer to Farmer Project.

TIM LOUIS * Vancouver, BC, Canada
Lawyer, former Vancouver City Counsellor and long-time supporter and activist of social justice causes, including the freedom of the Cuban 5 political prisoners held in U.S. jails.
